7 Steps to Makeup that Looks Great
Makeup is intended to enhance features, not attract unwanted attention. It will attract unwelcome attention if you wear excessive makeup.
Do not wear excessive quantities of:
i ) Eyeliner: a thick, heavy eyeliner will make you appear overdone and will destroy the rest of your makeup.
ii) Mascara: excessive mascara seems unnatural and flakes. It looks particularly unattractive when worn with thick eyeliner or dark blue eye shadow.
iii) Foundation: Ensure that your foundation matches your skin tone. The purpose of the foundation is to preserve and give the face a smooth appearance. The enchanted world is mixed.
iv) Powder: The same rule applies to powder – don’t use too much. Also, be sure to mix your makeup so that no lines are visible.
- Lips
Applying lip liner to thoroughly cover the lips, followed by adding colour, will make lipstick last much longer. Ensure that your lip liner is not visible. Additionally, your lip colour should complement your skin tone; use cold colours if your complexion is chilly and warm colours if your complexion is warmer. If you want to make your lips seem smaller, keep your liner on the inner of your lips. However, if you wish to make your lips appear fuller, going beyond their natural contour is a mistake. This might appear rather disorganised and odd.
- Appropriate makeup
Put on makeup that is suitable for the occasion. You should not wear as much or as much makeup to the beach as you would to a club. In addition, your makeup should be light throughout the day than when you go out in the evening.
- Too little or no cosmetics
Some people do not use makeup because they do not know how to apply it properly and are frightened of looking too made up. If uncertain, begin with lighter colours in your hue. Start gradually and add one item at a time. Perhaps begin with the foundation, then apply mascara, blush, or lipstick. If you are not accustomed to wearing makeup, using a great deal at first may be too much for you, so begin gradually. The final line is that some are preferable to none. If you are still uncertain, see a specialist.
- Overall look
When finished, your makeup should appear natural. This involves avoiding clashing hues. If you have a dark complexion and hair, you will look better in darker colours; lighter hues will make you appear washed out. If your hair and skin tone is light, you will appear better in lighter hues. Dark makeup will age and harshen your appearance. If you have oily skin, apply oil-controlling moisturiser and foundation first. Then you should wear loose powder and carry pressed powder for touch-ups.
- Hair colour
Your hair colour should also complement your skin tone. If you have dark hair and wish to add colour, keep the new hue near your natural shade. If you have light hair, wear light-coloured clothing. As your skin lightens with age, so should your hair colour. A final note on hair colour: if you colour your hair, be cautious to maintain it; don’t allow your roots to show.
- One final point
Maintain your makeup’s appearance throughout the day by performing frequent touch-ups. Makeup should not fade or wrinkle. Smile!!!
